Sidney J. Hardy
Sidney Hardy joined the Cadwell Law Firm in 2025. Her practice focuses on general civil litigation, including contract, business, and employment disputes. Sidney is licensed to practice in the State of South Dakota and the U.S. District for the District of South Dakota.
Originally from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, Sidney obtained her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law in 2023, graduating summa cum laude and receiving Sterling Honors.
During law school, Sidney was a member of the Moot Court Board, worked as a graduate assistant for the school's legal writing class, and externed for Chief Justice Steven R. Jensen of the South Dakota Supreme Court.
Following law school, she gained invaluable experience clerking for the Honorable Karen E. Schreier, United States District Court for the District of South Dakota.
In her free time, Sidney enjoys reading, baking, running, and spending time with friends and family.
